The trailer of Sardar, the upcoming Karthi starrer film, will release on Friday. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 21 for the occassion of Diwali. 

Directed by PS Mithran, Sardar is a spy thriller that will feature Karthi in dual roles. Besides him, the film also features Raashi Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, Chunky Panday, Leila, among others. 

Sardar will also release in Telugu, with Annapurna Studios presenting it. Produced by Prince Pictures, the film will have music by GV Prakash. Mithran's frequent collaborator George C Williams is in charge of Sardar's cinematography.

The post theatrical rights of the film have been bagged by Aha Tamil.
