Ajith Kumar's Thunivu wrapped up?

CE Features

The shoot for Thunivu, the upcoming film starring Ajith Kumar, has been reportedly wrapped up. Directed by H Vinoth, the film is produced by Boney Kapoor in association with Zee Studios. The team, including Ajith, and Manju Warrier, flew to Bangkok in September to shoot the final schedule. The reports also suggest that the makers are planning to release the film for Pongal 2023, which will clash with Vijay's Tamil-Telugu film Varisu. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement about wrapping up the shoot and release plan.

Meanwhile, Thunivu marks the third collaboration of Ajith with the director and producer after Nerkonda Paarvai and ValimaiThunivu is expected to be a heist thriller. While Manju plays the female lead, Veera, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, and Telugu actor Ajay are also part of the cast. The film's cinematography is by Nirav Shah, the music by Ghibran and edit by Velukutty.
