Earlier today, actor Khushbu Sundar took to Twitter to announce that she is back home and recuperating after a surgical procedure. The actor apparently had some complications involving the coccyx bone, which required medical attention. After wishing her fans for Vijayadashami, she further goes on to state that she will be back to work after two days of rest. 

The actor-politician recently put out a statement denying rumours of being cast in Vijay’s upcoming film Varisu, the rumours surfaced after her on-set picture with actor Vijay was released online, she said her pictures had nothing to do with her being in the film and that it was merely a friendly visit. 

Khushbu, being a member of the BJP, has been actively involved in politics in recent times. She was last seen in the Telugu film Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu, directed by Kishore Tirumala and starring Sharwanand-Rashmika in the lead.

Khushbu will next be seen in a number of upcoming projects, she is all set to appear in Sundar C’s upcoming directorial Coffee With Kadhal. She will also appear in Malayalam director Ranjith’s Kadhal Mudichu along with Hari Kumar’s Sankarapuram.
