Trailer for Nagarjuna starrer Ratchan is here, release date announced

The trailer for Akkineni Nagarjuna’s upcoming action film Ratchan has been released online. The Telugu language film, originally titled The Ghost, is releasing in Tamil under the title Ratchan. Jointly produced by Sri Venkateswara Cinemas and North Star Entertainment, the action-thriller is directed by Praveen Sattaru.

The film follows a former RAW agent Vikram, who is pulled back into action after his niece ends up in danger, which inadvertently ends up making him go to war against crime syndicates. The film is shot in locations like Ooty, Dubai, and Hyderabad. The cast of the film includes Sonal Chauhan, Gul Panag, Anikha Surendran, Manish Chaudhari, and Ravi Varma.

The makers of the film have announced that Ratchan will release on 5 October. While the satellite rights for Ratchan have been bought by Gemini TV, the streaming release for the film is yet to be announced. The songs for the film are composed by the musical duo Bharatt and Saurabh while the background score is done by Mark K Robin.
