The first official trailer for the upcoming thriller film Theenkirai has been released online. The film has Srikanth playing a police officer who hunts down a serial killer who targets women. Theenkirai also stars 8 Thootakkal Vetri in a pivotal role along with Smruthi Venkat, Nizhalgal Ravi, Apoorva, Sangeetha, Kureshi, Madurai Sridhar, Madhan, Super Good Subramani, and Adhira Pandilakshmi.

The film is written and directed by Prakash Ragavadass while the cinematography is handled by Yuvaraj Manoharan. Prakash Nikki composed the music for the film while the background score is made by Harish Arjun. Mohan Rajan has penned the lyrics for the songs while CS Prem Kumar has taken care of the editing.

The makers of the film are yet to announce their release plans for the film. Srikanth was recently seen in Sundar C’s romantic drama Coffee With Kadhal along with Jiiva and Jai. The actor’s upcoming line-up of films includes the Ravi Teja starrer Ravanasura and the Tamil film Echo.
