It was earlier speculated that Raghava Lawrence’s upcoming film Adhigaaram, directed by RS Durai Senthil Kumar, was shelved due to creative differences between the actor and the director. But the makers have confirmed that the rumours are untrue and that they will resume shooting very soon.

Raghava Lawrence is currently busy shooting for Chandramukhi 2 in which he plays the lead. Reports state that once the actor finishes wrapping up the sequel, he will commence the work for Adhigaaram

Adhigaaram is reportedly based on a script written by prolific filmmaker Vetrimaaran. In addition to writing the film, the director will also be co-producing the film under his banner Grass Root Film Company along with S Kathiresan of Five Star Creations LLP.

Durai Senthil Kumar, who made his debut with the Sivakarthikeyan starrer Ethir Neechal, is known for films like Kaaki Sattai, Kodi, and Pattas. The music for the film is composed by S Thaman.
