CE Features

With Kaithi and Vikram, director Lokesh Kanagaraj has successfully established his own cinematic universe of drugs, cops, and gangsters. Ever since the astounding success of Vikram, one thing Tamil cinephiles have been eagerly looking forward to is -- what's next in the LCU? While Lokesh's next is confirmed to be with Vijay, the makers have not yet announced if it will be part of the LCU.

Actor Narain, who was part of both Kaithi and Vikram, has now revealed that the upcoming Vijay-Lokesh film is indeed part of the LCU. The actor said the same during a recent interview with a Malayalam media. He also added that he won't be part of the film, but will be acting in the sequel to Kaithi, which is planned to begin in 2023.

Thalapathy 67 (tentative title), billed as a gangster-drama, is produced by Seven Screen Studio. Many big names from various languages including the likes of Sanjay Dutt, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nivin Pauly were rumoured to be part of the film, but an official announcement is still awaited.
