First single from Vijay Sethupathi's DSP titled Nalla Irumaa

We had reported yesterday that Udit Narayan is making his comeback to Tamil with a song for Vijay Sethupathi's DSP, under the composition of D Imman. Now it has been announced that the song has been titled Nalla Irumaa and it will be out today at 5:30 pm.

Along with Udit, the song has been sung by Chinna Machan-fame Senthil Ganesh and Maalavika Sundar. 

The song announcement poster features Vijay Sethupathi sporting a dhothi and the female lead Anukreety Vas draped in a saree. The background looks like a wedding and the song is expected to be a celebratory number wishing the bride. 

Vijay Sethupathi essays a cop named M Vascodagama in DSP, directed by Ponram. Former Miss India World Anukreety Vas has been cast as the female lead. Shivani Narayanan and Cooku with Comali-fame Pugazh are also essaying prominent roles in it.

DSP has cinematography by Venkatesh while Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Films is bankrolling the project. The makers have confirmed that the film will be a December release, but the exact date has not yet been announced.
