We earlier reported that actor Arya and filmmaker Muthaiya's upcoming film went on floors in October. While the film is tentatively titled Arya 34,  the latest buzz suggests that the film will be titled, Kader.

The film stars Siddhi Idnani, who made her debut with Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, as the female lead. Billed as a rural action entertainer, the film has cinematographer R Velraj and music composer GV Prakash. The film is produced by Drumsticks Productions in association with Zee Studios South.

Meanwhile, Muthaiyah is known for making rural films like Kutty Puli (2010), Komban (2015) and Devarattaam (2019). His most recent outing, Viruman (2021), starring Karthi, was also a rural actioner.

According to reports, the film will revolve around the relationship shared by two religions living in a rural locality and how politicians interfere to disrupt the peace. However, an official announcement regarding the title, storyline and further cast is yet to be made.
