Actor Ajith Kumar recently wrapped up dubbing for Thunivu, the upcoming film directed by H Vinoth Kumar. While the film is expected to release in January 2023 for Pongal, there is recent speculation that suggests that the actor's next film, tentatively titled AK62 will also go on floors in January 2023. 

Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the film marks the first-time collaboration between the actor and director. Besides, the rumours are also going rounds that Trisha, who was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan, is in talks for AK62. However, no confirmation has been made regarding the same. AK62 will be produced by Lyca Productions.

The film has music composer Anirudh Ravichander. Meanwhile, the reports also suggest that Ajith will go on an 18-month bike tour around the world after wrapping up his portions for AK62. It may be noted that Ajith and Trisha had earlier worked in films like Ji, Kreedam, Mankatha and Yennai Arindhaal.
