Aishwarya Rajesh's Driver Jamuna release postponed

Aishwarya Rajesh's upcoming film Driver Jamuna, which was set to release on Friday, has been postponed, the makers announced on social media on Thursday.

Certified U/A, the film's new release date has not been shared.

The makers shared a note which shared the news. It read, "Upon unforeseen circumstances, our movie Driver Jamuna is postponed from the said date, November 11. The new date will be announced soon. We are putting best efforts to bring our movie to theatres very soon for you to enjoy! We apologise for the delay and assure you that the wait will be worth it. Thank you for your patience and love."

Driver Jamuna is directed by Kinslin, who made his debut with Vathikuchi (2013). The upcoming film, billed as a thriller, has Aishwarya playing a cab driver named Jamuna. The conflict is around Aishwarya getting entangled in a problem during a ride.

Apart from Aishwarya, Driver Jamuna also stars Aadukalam Naren, Kavitha Bharathi, and standup comedian Abhishek Kumar, among others.With music by Ghibran, and shot by Gokul Benoy, the film is edited by R Ramar.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya has various other projects in the pipeline including Farhana with director Nelson Venkatesan, The Great Indian Kitchen, Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga at various stages of production. She is also making his return to Malayalam with Ajayante Randam Moshanam, co-starring Tovino Thomas and Krithi Shetty.
