Thunivu is the talk of the town due to multiple reasons. Before the excitement of the fans for Ajith's statement yesterday could settle in, the makers of the film have released a new behind-the-scene still of the star with a blood-stained face.

The producer of the film, Boney Kapoor is seen talking to Ajith in the photo and the background looks like a bank. The newly released still has got all the fans happy and many have started requesting the makers to release more photos from the film.

It may be noted that Ajith released a statement yesterday saying," "A good film is promotion by itself!" Putting an end to the rumors stating the star will be extensively promoting this film, after a long break. But the statement led to a debate between film lovers who believe that it's an actor's duty to promote a film and the ones who don't.

H Vinoth's Thunivu, starring Manju Warrier as the female lead, is distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. The film will face off Vijay's Varisu at the box office on Pongal next year.

Billed as an action adventurer, Thunivu also features Samuthirakani, John Kokken, and Veera in supporting roles.

With music by Ghibran, Thunivu has cinematography by Nirav Shah.
