Apart from being much-anticipated films, Prabhas's Salaar, Chiranjeevi's Chiru 154, and Balakrishna's NBK 107 have one more thing in common. All three upcoming Telugu big projects have Shruti Haasan as the lead actor in them. The actor, who took a two-year break in 2018, is back again like she never went away. Currently in Mumbai, the Poojai actor, in an interview with Mumbai Times, opened up about her comeback, love life, and more. 

Talking about the break, which many told Shruti was a bad idea, she said, "It was necessary because I wanted to realign myself. I felt like I was doing things that weren’t making me happy, personally and professionally."

When asked about her take on marriage, Shruti said, "The thought of marriage makes me nervous at this point. It is something that I wouldn’t jump at right away."

When further probed whether her take on marriage is affected by the divorce of her parents Kamal Haasan and Sarika, Shruti denied it. She noted, "Just because their marriage didn’t work, it doesn’t mean that I would write off the idea of marriage. When it worked, they were a brilliant couple, and that’s what I chose to look at."

She was also quoted as saying, "I feel rejuvenated and energised to take up new challenges. I must say 2022 is looking quite promising."

Talking about her career as a musician, Shruti hinted that she might work on films soon.
