Prabhu Solomon's next with Kovai Sarala, Ashwin Kumar titled Sembi

The first look of director Prabhu Solomon's upcoming film Sembi have been released. The film stars Ashwin Kumar, Kovai Sarala, Thambi Ramaiah, and a 10-year-old child actor named Nila in prominent roles.

Billed as a road flick, Sembi revolves around a bus, its 24 passengers, and their eventful journey from Kodaikanal to Dindigul. The film has music scored by Nivas K Prasanna and cinematography by Jeevan. It is jointly produced by Trident Arts and AR Entertainment.

Director Prabhu Solomon's last release was the trilingual Kaadan (Aranya, Haathi Mere Saathi). He is also said to have completed the shooting of Kumki 2.

Ashwin Kumar, who made his debut as a lead actor with Enna Solla Pogirai, is also part of a five-part anthology titled Meet Cute. Telugu actor Nani is presenting the film under his banner Wall Poster Cinema.
