Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam release date out

We had previously reported that Dhanush is teaming up with director Mithran Jawahar, with whom he had earlier collaborated for Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty and Uthamaputhiran, for a new project titled Thiruchitrambalam.

The film's shooting was completed in October last year in just fifty days. While it was earlier speculated that the film will be a summer release, it's now known that the film will hit the screens on July 1.

Actor and producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, while promoting his upcoming film Nenjuku Needhi, confirmed the release date of Thiruchitrambalam which will be released by his home banner, Red Giant Movies.

Also starring Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar as female leads, the film's cast also includes Prakash Raj and Bharathiraja. Produced by Sun Pictures, the music for the film is by Anirudh.

Meanwhile, Dhanush has films like Vaathi, Naane Varuven, The Gray Man and an untitled film with Arun Matheswaran.
