Yogi Babu, Srikanth, Shaam and Sangeetha join the cast of Thalapathy 66

Looks like Vijay's upcoming film with Vamshi Paidipally, tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, is going to feature an ensemble cast. While the makers of the film, which stars Rashmika Mandana as the lead, have already confirmed actors like Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha, they have now released a fresh slate of talents who will be joining the film.

The Twitter handle of the project's producers Sri Venkateswara Creations has now confirmed that the film will also star Yogi Babu, Srikanth, Shaam and Sangeetha. Thalapathy 66 will mark Telugu actor Srikanth's Tamil debut while this will also be the first time Sangeetha is starring in a Vijay film.

Incidentally, Shaam started his acting career with an uncredited role in Kushi and after 22 years, he will be sharing screen space with Vijay in Thalapathy 66. On the other hand, Yogi Babu has starred in many of Vijay's recent films like Beast, Bigil, Sarkar and Mersal

The film has Thaman as the music director, Kharthik Palani as the cinematographer and Praveen KL as the editor. The shoot of Thalapathy 66 is currently progressing in Hyderabad.
