RJ Balaji's Badhaai Ho remake titled Veetla Visheesham

The upcoming Tamil remake of Badhaai Ho by RJ Balaji has been titled Veetla Visheesham. Apart from playing the male lead in the film Balaji has also directed it along with NJ Saravanan. The duo had previously helmed the Nayanthara starrer Mookuthi Amman

The title has been announced with a first look poster of the film, which is designed like a baby shower invitation. Actor Urvashi is featured as a pregnant lady, surrounded by her family members played by Sathyaraj, late KPAC Lalitha and Balaji. 

The original starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajaraj Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead and it revolved around a middle-aged couple who get pregnant. 

The title Veetla Viseesham has been inspired by Bhakkiyaraj's 1994 film Veetla Viseeshanga. The film, produced by Boney Kapoor, under Bayview projects and it stars Aparna Balamurali as the female lead. Veetla Viseesham has been scheduled to hit screens on 17th June.
