It's official! Ajith Kumar will join hands with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan for his 62nd film. The project will have music scored by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his fourth collaboration with Ajith.

Tentatively called AK 62, the film will be bankrolled by Subaskaran of Lyca Productions. According to Lyca Productions' official statement, the shooting of the film will commence by the end of the year and will release in mid-2023. Other details about the cast and crew of the film are yet to be announced.

"Lyca is very proud and happy to have joined with Mr Ajith Kumar. As a team, Lyca is committed to carry out a sincere and fruitful collaboration to provide quality films to the audience and fans," read the statement.

Ajith's recent release was H Vinoth's Valimai, and the actor will once again collaborate with Vinoth for his 61st film, which is expected to commence shooting soon.
