The much-awaited action thriller Vikram is all set to release on June 3rd. The release date of the Kamal Haasan starrer was announced along with a making video of the film. 

The featurette begins by addressing the film as the 'biggest action thriller'    and shows glimpses of actors Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi along with the footage of the work that has gone behind the stunt sequences. 

Vikram, also starring Shivani Narayanan, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Antony Varghese and Arjun Das in supporting roles has cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj.
 
Notably, the Anirudh musical has borrowed its title from the 1986 film of Kamal. 

Apart from this film, Lokesh had announced a sequel to his hit film Kaithi, starring Karthi. Kamal, on the other hand, has the long-pending Shankar film Indian 2 in the kitty.
