Actor Harish Kalyan will next be seen in Diesel, helmed by Adangathey-fame Shanmugam Muthusamy. The first look was released earlier today coinciding with the Pyaar Prema Kadhal actor's birthday. It features the actor in a petrol bunk holding a fuel pump nozzle. A second look was also released which featured him with actor Athulya Ravi.

Speaking about the film, Shanmugam says, "Many of us fill fuel at bunks for a certain amount knowing that it shouldn't have cost us so much. Diesel will talk about several stories including the politics behind what decides the pricing of such an essential commodity. The film also stars Vinay as the antagonist and Ananya (Nadodigal fame), who will be making her comeback to Tamil cinema, is playing his partner."

The film was earlier shot in places like Chennai and Hyderabad and will have its final schedule shot in foreign locales. With music by Kanaa-fame Dhibu Ninan Thomas, veteran cinematographer MS Prabhu, known for films like Vaali and Ramana, is cranking the camera for Diesel.
