Arun Vijay’s Yaanai, which is scheduled to release on July 1 in theatres, has been censored with a U/A certificate, the makers announced on Friday.

Yaanai is directed by Hari, who is known for his action films. Similarly, the upcoming film will also be an action entertainer with a rural-based script.

Besides Arun Vijay, the film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, while Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Ammu Abirami, KGF-fame Ramachandra Raju, and Radikaa Sarathkumar will be seen in supporting roles.

Yaanai will also be released in Telugu as Enugu, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

The film has cinematography by Gopinath, with Anthony and Anl Arasu handling the editing and action departments, respectively.
