Social media is abuzz with photos from the star-studded wedding of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan. Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Vijay, Karthi and Vijay Sethupathi are some of the popular celebrities to have attended the wedding at Mahabalipuram.

From the Malayalam film industry, Nayanthara's home turf, Dileep is the only celeb so far to have attended the wedding. However, his presence has created quite an uproar in social media. It must be noted that Dileep is an accused in the actor abduction case.

Dileep and Nayanthara have worked together in Bodyguard (2010). The latter also acted in a guest role in Dileep's  Life of Josutty (2015), directed by Jeethu Joseph.
