Here's the Harris Jayaraj connection with Kamal Haasan's Vikram

While Asuran's Chakku Chakku song, composed by Adithyan, has become viral due to its presence in Vikram, Harris Jayaraj has shared his connection with the yesteryear song

Kamal Haasan-Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram has opened to positive reviews and several aspects of the film have been dissected and discussed in detail by fans online. One of them happens to be the usage of an old Tamil song, which has become a signature of Lokesh in his films. In Vikram, there's a scene involving a jailbreak while a speaker blasts the 'Chakku Chakku Vathikuchi' track from the 1995 Tamil film, Asuran

While the song, composed by Adithyan and written by Piraisoodan, has become viral now because of the Vikram connect, music director Harris Jayaraj has shared his connection with the yesteryear song. Harris took to Twitter where he said, "I am glad to see this peppy vintage song going Viral, which was composed by Mr Adithyan and programmed by me. This song was recorded at VGP studio, in 1995."

Asuran, directed by Velu Prabhakaran, starred Arun Pandian and Roja in lead roles. Similar to how Vikram connects with Lokesh's sophomore film Kaithi, Mansoor Ali Khan reprised his role of Veerabhadran from Captain Prabhakaran in Asuran

Vikram, also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Gayathrie and Narain, is having a good run at the box office. Produced by Kamal's Raajkamal Films International, Vikram's music is by Anirudh.
