It has been announced that Yogi Babu and choreographer-actor Dinesh will be teaming up for a film titled Lokal Sarakku. Actor Soori has unveiled the first look of the film, which features the lead actors on a moped, on Saturday via Twitter.

Lokal Sarakku will be directed by SP Raj Kumar, known for directing Ponmanam, En Purushan Kuzhandhai Maadhiri and Vijay's 50th film, Sura. The film has cinematography by M Moovendhar and KS Palani while Castro will be serving as the editor. VR Swaminathan Rajesh will compose music for the film.

The film is being bankrolled by Valentina Swaminathan and Dr Padma Venkatasubramanian through Discover Studios.

In addition to this, Yogi Babu has several films as a comedian coming up, including Ayalaan, Kasethan Kadavulada, Varisu, Andhagan, and Love Today, to name a few.
