CE Features

If sources are to be believed, the production of Vikram's long-awaited Dhruva Natchathiram has been taken over by Red Giant Movies. According to a source close to the unit, the production company will handle the completion of the Gautham Menon project. Vikram has reportedly completed his dubbing and patchwork is expected to be wrapped up soon.

Escape Artists Motion Pictures and Gautham initially produced Dhruva Natchathiram, and the production was later taken over by Vels Film International who bankrolled Gautham's Enai Noki Paayum Thota and his upcoming films Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. An announcement regarding Red Giant Movies' takeover is expected soon.

Dhruva Natchathiram, which began production in 2016, also stars Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Simran, R Parthiban and Radhika Sarathkumar. With music by Harris Jayaraj, the film is expected to release this year.

Meanwhile, Vikram is awaiting the release of Cobra and Ponniyin Selvan. Gautham, on the other hand, has Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu starring Silambarasan.
