Even as Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is nearing two months since its theatrical release, the hype surrounding the film has not died yet. In line with this, the makers have released the video version of the song Once Upon A Time, from the film, on Thursday.

The song takes place during the crucial moment in the climax of the film, where Kamal Haasan’s character Vikram has a stand-off with the antagonists. ‘Once upon a time, there lived a ghost’ also was the line that was used in the announcement video when Vikram was first launched. The film's album is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Vikram is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and features an ensemble star cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Suriya in extended cameo, among others. The film belongs to the cinematic universe of Lokesh’s previous film Kaithi and sequels for the film are on the cards.

Vikram is produced by Haasan’s home banner Raaj Kamal Films International and is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
