The music video for Prabhu Deva’s upcoming film Poikkal Kuthirai titled Singleu was released online. The video shows choreographer turned actor Prabhu Deva dancing to D Imman’s catchy tunes. The lyrics for the song are penned by Madhan Karky. 

Composer G V Prakash released the music video on his Twitter handle and wished the team for their success. The team had earlier released a two-minute-long trailer. Prabhu Deva plays a one-legged amputee in the film directed by Santhosh P. Jayakumar. The director is known for making adult comedies Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu and Hara Hara Mahadevaki. 

The trailer shows us an amputee single father living with his daughter. Things take a violent turn when his daughter goes missing, which pushes him into the middle of a wider network of dangerous individuals.  

With Prabhu Deva in the lead, the cast of the film also includes Prakash Raj, Vara Laxmi, Sharath Kumar, Raiza Wilson, Jagan Shaam, and John Kokken. Poikkal Kuthirai, produced under the banner of Mini Studio and DarkRoom Pictures, is slated to release on August 5.
