Goundamani to make a comeback with Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveeran?

Veteran comedian Goundamani is reported to be cast in Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film Maaveeran.

While no official announcement on the same has been made as of yet, if Goundamani is to appear in Maaveran, it will mark the actor’s comeback after six years. Goundamani was last seen in Vaaimai (2016). According to reports, the veteran comedian is said to play paternal uncle for Sivakarthikeyan.

The upcoming film is helmed by Madonne Ashwin, who has previously directed MandelaMaaveeran will release in Tamil and Telugu. It has been titled Mahaveerudu in Telugu.

The film is backed by Shanthi Talkies. The technical crew consists of Vidhu Ayyanna as the cinematographer and Bharath Sankar on the music. Philomin Raj and Kumar Gangappan are the editor and art director respectively. The makers are yet to reveal the rest of the cast members.
