We had previously reported that filmmaker Mohan G, known for Draupadi and Rudhra Thandavam, will be directing a film titled Bakasuran. It has now been announced that the filming of the project is complete. The filmmaker announced the development on Twitter while sharing a picture with the film's team.

"With the blessings of Lord Easan, the shooting of Bakasuran has been successfully completed... My sincere thanks to all of those who worked on the film... soon on screen," Mohan G wrote. He also tweeted a selfie with Selvaraghavan, who is playing one of the lead roles, in the film and called it a "dream selfie".

Bakasuran co-stars Natty and has music by Sam CS. The film is being bankrolled by GM Film Corporation.

The makers are yet to announce the release date.
