Actor Vikram made his first public appearance post his brief hospital episode yesterday at Cobra's audio launch. Addressing the issue during his speech, the actor said, "As long as I have the love and support of my fans, nothing wrong can happen to me."

He recalled the fatal accident he met at the age of 20. "The doctors recommended amputating my leg, to save my life. I worked hard and won over that phase. Having braved all that, the present issue feels very minor to me. Cinema is my life, I don't know anything apart from this."

Talking about Cobra, Vikram, said, "This is probably the most complex character I  have played so far. The seven looks I sport in the film will be distinctly different from each other. I am confident that Cobra will be a huge hit."

Apart from Cobra, Vikram has Ponniyin Selvan-1 (PS-1) awaiting a release. The actor is expected to begin shooting for his next with Pa Ranjith this month.
