After releasing the character poster of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Nandhini from Ponniyin Selvan, the makers have released a new poster featuring Trisha today. 

"In a world of men, a woman of courage. Presenting Princess Kundavai," the official handle of Madras Talkies tweeted while sharing the new poster. The posters featuring Vikram as Aditya Karikalan, Karthi as Vallavaraiyan Vandiyadevan, and Aishwarya Rai have been unveiled so far.

The film features a massive ensemble cast including Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Parthiban, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Vikram Prabhu, Shobita Dhulipala, Ashwin Kakumanu, and Prabhu, among others.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Ravi Varman. The film has been conceived as a duology, with the first part scheduled to release on September 30.
