Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies will release actor Vishnu Vishal's long-delayed film FIR in theatres on February 11.

Thanking Udhayanidhi, Vishnu tweeted writing, "Thank you so so much @Udhaystalin na for always holding my back during the most difficult times...Words can never be enough..."

Interestingly, Telugu star Ravi Teja too posted the news about the film's release on his Twitter handle. Rumours have been rife that Ravi Teja and Vishnu will join hands for a film soon.

FIR, which wrapped up production in January 2021, has been long-delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Directed by Manu Anand, the film has Manjima Mohan, Reba Monica John, and Raiza Wilson playing the female leads. Gautham Vasudev Menon will also be seen playing a key role in the film.

FIR has music by Ashwath, cinematography by Kirumi-fame Arul Vincent, and editing by Prasanna GK.
