A video claiming to be the trailer of the upcoming Shanthnu Bhagyaraj-starrer Raavana Kottam has been doing the rounds on social media. The actor has now tweeted clarifying that it's a fake video and that the original trailer will be out shortly.

Recently, Shanthnu had also tweeted about his friends from the industry getting anonymous calls claiming to be his family members. He warned everyone about the same and also attached a screenshot of one of the numbers they used.

On the work front, Shanthnu was last seen in the adult comedy, Murungakkai Chips. He wrapped up the shoot of Raavana Kottam last September.

Raavana Kottam is the sophomore directorial of Vikram Sugumaran, who made an impressive debut in 2013 with Madha Yaanai Koottam.

Anandhi plays the female lead opposite Shanthanu. The film also stars Prabhu, Ilavarasu, Sujatha Sivakumar, Aruldoss, and Deepa Shankar in important roles.
