A sneak peek of Samuthirakani in Public was released earlier today. Headlined by Samuthirakani and Kaali Venkat, the political satire drama is directed by Raa Paraman.

At the beginning of the video, we hear Kaali Venkat's voice reading the voluntary disclaimer that states, "All events and characters depicted in this film are fictional. Any similarities are purely coincidental." However, just as he finishes, Samuthirakani interrupts him and states that the characters and events in this film are actually real and that they can't help it if someone is offended by it. This is followed by a sequence that follows a unique protest against the rise in fuel prices.

Kaali Venkat and Samuthirakani play party workers in the film which also stars Mu Ramaswamy as a senior cadre member. Also starring Riythvika, the film has more than 50 other first-time actors who have been trained exclusively for this project.

Bankrolled by KKR Cinemas banner, the film has music by D Imman, editing by Praveen KL, and cinematography by Rajesh Yadav and Vetri.
