Allu Arjun is currently basking in the pan-Indian success of Pushpa: The Rise. The film directed by Sukumar has emerged as a huge blockbuster cementing Allu's popularity beyond the Telugu-speaking audience.

Post Pushpa success, it is said that the actor is keen on widening his market further. Buzz is that he is currently in talks with Tamil filmmaker Atlee for his next.

Lyca Productions, the banner which produced biggies like Kaththi, 2.0, and Darbar, is said to be backing this project. Unconfirmed reports claim that Lyca has offered Allu Rs 100 crore for this film, which is also billed as a pan-Indian project. An official announcement regarding the project is still awaited.

Atlee is currently working on his Bollywood debut starring Shah Rukh Khan. Allu Arjun will next begin shooting for the second part of Pushpa. The sequel titled Pushpa: The Rule is planned to go on floors in March 2022.
