Producer KT Kunjumon, known for his big-budget spectacles like Gentleman and Kadhalan is making a comeback to film production. Kunjumon is not only known for his big-ticket films but also for his innovative promotional activities. 

Making his comeback with Gentleman 2, Kunjumon also made a solid comeback with his promotional strategies as he announced a social media competition where three Twitterati who guessed the composer of his next film would win gold coins. 

The team then announced that Baahubali-fame MM Keeravani is set to compose Kunjumon's next production venture. They announced that winners of this competition will be awarded the gold coin very soon. This will be Keeravani's first direct Tamil film since Kondattam (1998).

Backed by Gentleman Film International banner, the director of Gentleman 2 will be announced soon. However, there is no update on whether this will be a direct sequel or a spiritual sequel to the 1994 blockbuster that kickstarted the career of Shankar.
