Petrol bombs hurled at theatre screening Valimai

Ajith Kumar's Valimai has released in theatres today amidst much fanfare. The film is reportedly out in more than 1000 screens in Tamil Nadu alone. 

Earlier in the day, petrol bombs were hurled at a theatre screening the film in Coimbatore. The incident occurred at Ganga Cine Complex when two unidentified men riding on a bike hurled bombs at the theatre. Some fans who were waiting for the show to begin outside the theatre premises got injured. Gandhipuram police are currently on the investigation.

Valimai is Ajith's first release after a gap of two years and there is a massive hype among the fans. Directed by H Vinoth, the film is billed as action-thriller in which Ajith plays a cop. Kartikeya, Huma Quereshi and many others star in it.
