Silambarasan TR’s upcoming action-thriller titled Pathu Thala is all set to hit the theatres soon. The producers of the film Studio Green have confirmed that they will announce the release date for the film tomorrow. According to the official Twitter handle of Studio Green, the release date announcement will arrive at 11 am tomorrow.

Pathu Thala is a remake of the 2017 Kannada film Mufti, the film is directed by Obeli N Krishna who also directed the original. STR will reportedly essay the lead role in the film, originally played by Shivarajkumar in the original.

The film is produced by Jayantilal Gada and KE Gnanavelraja. The film also stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, and Teejay Arunasalam in supporting roles. 

With music composed by AR Rahman and cinematography by Farook J Basha, Pathu Thala will have editing by Praveen KL.
