After Thunivu, Ajith Kumar will collaborate with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan for his 62nd film. Recently, in an interaction with an entertainment portal, Vignesh revealed that it will be his kind of film even though it has a megastar.

"For this film, I have the freedom to do what I want. The instruction I got is to do my film. I don't have pressure, and there is no doubt from any side. I hope I could deliver my best," he said.

Tentatively called AK 62, the film is backed by Lyca Productions. The project will have music scored by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his fourth collaboration with Ajith. Earlier, the makers noted that the film is expected to release in mid-2023. Other details about the cast and crew of the film are yet to be announced.
