Trisha to play the female lead in Ajith’s next?

While Ajith Kumar is gearing up to release Thunivu for Pongal, speculations about his next film are already doing the rounds. According to emerging reports, Trisha might play the female lead in the tentatively titled AK62. It was previously announced that the film will be directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by Lyca Productions.

Meanwhile, Trisha is currently busy promoting her upcoming film with Lyca Productions titled Raangi, directed by Engaeyum Eppothum-fame M Saravanan. Raangi is currently scheduled to release on 30 December. 

While doing the promotional rounds for Raangi, when asked about being part of AK62, Trisha neither denied nor confirmed the news. Apart from the AK62 casting speculations, Trisha is also rumoured to be a part of Vijay’s next after Varisu, tentatively titled Thalapathy67. According to sources, AK62 is currently scheduled to start shooting in February 2023 in Mumbai.
