Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu-fame Mayi Sundar passes away

The actor was last seen in Gatta Kusthi

Actor Mayi Sundar, known for playing supporting characters in Tamil films, passed away recently. According to reports, he was around 50 years old and suffered from jaundice. Sundar rose to fame with his performance in Vishnu Vishal's Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (2009).  

Apart from that, the actor has worked in over 50 Tamil films. Some of his prominent works were in films like Thullatha Manamum ThullumKullanari Kootam, Silukkuvarupatti Singam, and Katchikkaran. He was last seen in Gatta Kusthi, which also starrer Vishnu Vishal in the lead role.

Vishnu took to his social media handle to pen a condolence message. He wrote, "Cinema is sometimes unfair. And so is life. Lost a friend from Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu. Inspite of him giving his all to cinema, he did not get back much. He still continued to HOPE for more than 25 years. HOPE he is in a much fairer world now. I wil mis u SUNDER NA. I tried my best."
