Vijay's Varisu team recently promoted their film on Chennai Metro trains by posting posters on the coaches. Following that, the makers have followed the same strategy on Uzhavan Express the train that runs between Chennai Egmore and Thanjavur station. 

The film's audio launch will be held on December 24. The grand event is set to be held at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is a family entertainer in which Vijay essays the role of an entrepreneur's son. Rashmika Mandanna, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, Jayasudha, Yogi Babu, Srikanth, Shaam and Sangeetha are also part of the cast.

The film is gearing up for a grand Pongal release in January, 2023 where it will be clashing with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu.
