It's a wrap for Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's Sabari

Sabari, the upcoming Tamil film starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead role, has wrapped up shooting, the makers announced on Wednesday.

Backed by Mahendra Nath Kondla under the Maha Movies banner, the film is helmed by Anil Katz who is making his directorial debut. Sabari will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

Varalaxmi said, "We are lucky to have a producer like Mahendra garu. He spent a lot on the film, believing in the strong content. He is one of the best producers, I have worked with. Every rupee he gave has been brought to the screen by director Anil Katz. We've shot in many picturesque locations. The movie has come out very well. I am so happy to have played the lead role in Sabari.”

The actor also added that the dubbing will begin in a couple of days followed by a theatrical release. The makers also said that Sabari will be an emotional thriller, with Varalaxmi playing a young and independent woman, who will be seen performing action sequences.

Apart from her, the film’s cast includes Ganesh Venkatram, Shashank, Mime Gopi, among others.  The technical crew consists of Gopi Sundar composing the music and Rahul Srivatsav handling the cinematography. Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor.
