Driver Jamuna, starring Aishwarya Rajesh, gets a new release date

Aishwarya Rajesh's upcoming film Driver Jamuna, is set to release in theatres on December 30, the makers informed on social media on Wednesday. The film was earlier set for release on November 11, but was postponed.

Certified U/A, Driver Jamuna is directed by Kinslin, who made his debut with Vathikuchi (2013). The upcoming film, billed as a thriller, has Aishwarya playing a cab driver named Jamuna. The conflict is around Aishwarya getting entangled in a problem during a ride.

Apart from Aishwarya, Driver Jamuna also stars Aadukalam Naren, Kavitha Bharathi, and standup comedian Abhishek Kumar, among others. With music by Ghibran, and shot by Gokul Benoy, the film is edited by R Ramar.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rajesh will have another release before Driver Jamuna. The actor’s Tamil remake of hit Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen will release on December 29. Aishwarya has various other projects in the pipeline including Farhana with director Nelson Venkatesan which will release in January 2023, and Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga. She is also making his return to Malayalam with Ajayante Randam Moshanam, co-starring Tovino Thomas and Krithi Shetty.
