Director Gopi Nainar of Aramm fame has joined hands with actor Andrea Jeremiah for a new film called Manushi. The film bankrolled by Vetrimaaran's Grassroot Film Company, B4U Entertainment and Ivy Entertainment.

The first look of the film features a distressed Andrea looking out through the hole in a locked door. Another look shows the actor sitting on the floor hugging her knees, in front of someone who looks like an oppressor.

It may be noted that Andrea's previous film Anel Meley Pani Thuli was also bankrolled by Vetrimaaran. Even though the film opened to mixed reviews, the actor's performance was lauded by the critics.

Apart from this project, Andrea has the much-awaited Pisasu 2, directed by Mysskin and co-starring Vijay Sethupathi. She also has other delayed projects like Maaligai, Kaa and No Entry.
