On the occasion of Superstar Rajinikanth's 72nd birthday, the makers of his next, Jailer, which is helmed by Nelson, released a poster with the tagline, 'Muthuvel Pandian arrives soon..." 

Through the poster, the makers also announced that the teaser of the film will be out at 6 Pm today. 

Backed by Sun Pictures, Jailer also stars Ramya Krishnan, Shivarajkumar, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, and Vasanth Ravi in pivotal roles.

The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, and Jailer marks his third collaboration with Rajinikanth after Petta and Darbar.

Jailer is expected to hit the theatres in 2023 summer.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that an announcement about Rajinikanth's next film after Jailer is expected to be out on his birthday today. Names like Desingh Periyasamy and Cibi Chakravarthy are doing the rounds, and netizens are gung-ho about Rajinikanth collaborating with the young blood of Tamil cinema.
