The first look poster of Saloon, the upcoming Tamil film starring Shiva and Yogi Babu in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Saturday.

The poster hints that the film will be a period drama, set during the colonial era. It features Shiva, who is expected to portray the role of a hairdresser, with other artists standing behind him.

Directed by filmmaker Muthukumaran, the upcoming project will be a comedy, and backed by Inder Kumar. Saloon will have music by Sam CS and lyrics by Yugabharathi and Arivu. Cinematography will be handled by Magalir Mattum-fame S Manikandan, while San Lokesh is the editor.

Meanwhile, on the other hand Shiva and Yogi Babu are awaiting the release of Kasethan Kadavulada, the upcoming Tamil remake of the 1972 film by the same name. The film is set to hit the big screens on December 23.
