PC Sreeram to collaborate with Vetrimaaran for a web series

Veteran cinematographer PC Sreeram has announced that he will be teaming up with filmmaker Vetri Maaran for a new web series, which will stream on Zee5. In his tweet, PC Sreeram also revealed that Vetri Maaran will serve as the project's writer and showrunner.

An official announcement with full details regarding the other team members and when they plan to begin production is awaited.

Zee5 had earlier announced that they would be collaborating with Vetri Maaran for a web series titled Nilamellam Ratham. Ameer was announced as the lead actor, with Ramesh Balakrishnan of Adhu and Pagaivan-fame as the director. The project had Vetri Maaran as its producer and showrunner, but its current status is not known.

Vetri Maaran also recently collaborated with Aha Tamil for a web series titled Pettaikaali. He has also been planning to make Rajan Vagaiyara, a prequel series to Vada Chennai for sometime now. The director's next release will be Viduthalai, starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi. His long-delayed Suriya project Vaadivaasal is also in the pipeline.
