As Karthikeya 2 continues its successful run in theatres, becoming one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema this year, actor Ram Charan congratulated the film's team. The RRR actor took to Twitter on Sunday to write, "Good films always bring back glory to theatres!"

He added, "Congratulations to the entire team on the massive success of Karthikeya 2."

Responding to Ram Charan's wishes, producer Abhishek Agarwal wrote, "Thank your brother."

The film's lead actor Nikhil Sidhartha quote tweeted Ram Charan. "Charan bhai, coming from you, the entire team of Karthikeya 2 is overjoyed. And so am I. Your wishes mean a lot to us," an elated Nikhil wrote.

A sequel to the 2014 film, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Karthikeya 2 stars Anupama Parameswaran, Srinivasa Reddy and Harsha in prominent roles while Anupam Kher appears in a cameo. 

On the acting front, Ram Charan has a film with Shankar, tentatively titled RC 15, coming up.
