It was reported a few days ago that director Bharathiraja has been admitted to hospital owing to sickness. Now the filmmaker himself has released a statement saying that he is recovering well. 

It read, "I am recovering due to the excellent treatment and kind care of doctors and medical staff." The director has requested fans and well-wishers not to visit him in the hospital. "I humbly request all my loved ones not to come to see me in person as visitors are not allowed in the hospital."

He ended the note on a positive note saying that he will everyone soon, after the treatment. 

The director's latest film as an actor, Thiruchitrambalam has been declared a hit and his role has been well-received by everyone. It may be noted that he made his last public appearance at the film's audio launch.
